Back by popular demand! Two sisters try to reunite on the Day of the Dead. Along the way Rosita keeps getting lost, but she miraculously finds her way to Conchita through familiar sounds, sights and smells. Kids of all ages will love the rhyming bilingual dialogue and touching images.

Based on the award-winning children’s book Rosita y Conchita by Erich Haeger and Eric González.

En esta adaptación imaginativa del libro infantil Rosita y Conchita de Erich Haeger y Eric González, dos hermanas tratan de reunirse en el día de los muertos. A lo largo del camino Rosita se sigue perdiendo, pero milagrosamente encuentra su camino a Conchita a través de sonidos y imágenes familiares. Esta conmovedora historia llega a la vida con música en vivo inspirada por son jarocho por Son Armado, actores profesionales y títeres. Todas las edades se disfrutarán el diálogo bilingüe y las imágenes impresionantes.

About Son Armado

Son Armado is an Austin-based folk music group that promotes the “son jarocho” music tradition originating in Veracruz, Mexico. This tradition is rooted in the Indigenous, African, and Spanish cultures that converge in the state of Veracruz. Son Armado is taking part in the worldwide “jaranero” movement to revitalize and introduce this culture to Austin.
