FIELD TRIP SHOWS!
Austin Scottish Rite Theater offers exciting, educational live theater productions for students throughout the school year. Choose field trip shows to see plays in our historic theater.
2023-2024
2024 - 2025
For Public/Private School Groups:
For Field Trip Dates click on ‘BOOK NOW’ by the show you wish to attend, select the dates and reserve your spots.
COST:
- $10 per student for Non-Title I schools
- $7 per student for Title I Schools
- Free admission for teachers.
- $12 per additional adult or child. (Individual tickets for parents and siblings may be purchased at the door.)

It’s a dark and stormy night and Chester (the family cat) and Harold (the family dog) sit waiting for their owners to return home from the movies. Chester and Harold are more than just pets, they’re good friends too. When the Monroes finally get home, they come bearing a surprise: they’ve found a bunny in the movie theater. Judy Moody & Stink: The Holly Joliday
Judy Moody is making a list and checking it twice, but all her brother, Stink, wants this year is snow. It hasn’t snowed on Christmas in Virginia in more than a hundred years, however, so what are the chances that that will change? Enter the new mailman, Mr. Jack Frost, who not only looks like a jolly old elf but also seems to know a lot about weather patterns, has a fondness for the cold, and works looooooong hours during the holiday season…

Tangle of Tigers
What would you do if you saw a bunch of tigers get their stripes tangled together? Try to help?Point and laugh? Head for the hills? Better decide quick because they’re coming this way! Get swept up in this zany tale of nonsense, play and teamwork as tiger friends old and new learn how to celebrate each other’s talents and differences, discover their own creativity and ingenuity so they can ultimately figure out how to work together to free themselves from their crazy silly predicament.

Alicia
A bilingual adaptation of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll, in Spanish and English.
When Alicia is sent to her room for misbehaving, she’s convinced that her parents have no idea who she really is. She confides in her beloved hamster Alfredito, who suddenly escapes through a hole in the wall, and miraculously, Alicia is able to follow him all the way into Wonderlandia. On her journey through this topsy-turvy world she meets all sorts of fantastic characters, negotiating strange situations before finally returning to her room a little wiser.
