  • Friday, November 6: 6:00pm – 9:00pm 

  • Saturday, November 7: 1:00pm – 5:00pm

  • Callbacks (by invitation only) Sunday, November 8: 4:00pm – 7:00pm

GENERAL AUDITION INFORMATION:

  • Casting actors 18+ for all roles. Daytime availability is required.

  • All genders, races, ethnicities, bodies, and abilities are encouraged to audition.

  • Please upload 1 copy each of your headshot and resume.

  • Using an instrumental track, prepare 32 bars (or 60 seconds) of an upbeat, song of your choice. An accompanist will not be provided, and we’re unable to accept acapella auditions. We have a Bluetooth speaker available, but we encourage you to bring your own to reduce the odds of technical issues.

  • We are not requesting monologues, so please be sure to make strong acting and character choices when singing your song.

  • PLEASE DO NOT “NO SHOW”: If you are unable to make your audition time, please cancel or reschedule using the link you’ll receive in your confirmation email, or email info@scottishritetheater.org so we know not to expect you, and so someone else may have the opportunity to audition. 

IF UNABLE TO ATTEND IN PERSON, VIDEO SUBMISSION INFO:

  • Submit an unlisted YouTube video link through the submission form.*

  • Using an instrumental track, prepare 32 bars (or 60 seconds) of an upbeat, song of your choice. We are not requesting monologues, so please be sure to make strong acting and character choices when singing your song.

  • DUE BY 6:00PM FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 6TH, 2026

*Video should show performer from at least the waist up and be well lit with the angle of the camera directly at eye level. Please do not sing or speak directly to the camera, but just to the right or left. Please keep in mind that this is a stage audition, and not a film audition.

CALLBACKS – Sunday, November 8, 4:00pm – 7:00pm:

  • Callbacks will be by invitation only.

  • If you are not invited to callbacks, that does not mean you are out of consideration.

  • Callbacks will consist of sides from the show, song cuts, and dance, so please come warmed up and prepared to move.

  • Please be prepared to stay for the entirety of callbacks.

Yesterday Allie was just a normal kid, but today she’s headed into outer space! With the help of her trusty talking dog Captain Chaos and Rover the Dancing Robot from Mars, Allie’s on a mission across the solar system to save Earth, and maybe learn some things about science along the way. But she’d better be home in time for dinner! Grab your space suit and get ready for an adventure that’s out of this world!

PAY:

$1,000 stipend to be paid in two parts. $500 upon opening, $500 upon closing.

Please note: Daytime availability is required. Performances will be mornings and afternoons. Rehearsals will be weekday evenings and weekend afternoons.

Rehearsals start: Mid-November

Tech: February 4 – February 9, 2027

Performances: February 10 – March 14, 2027

  • Wed – 10am: February 10 – March 10, 2027

  • Thurs/Fri – 10am + 12pm: February 11 – March 12, 2027

  • Sat/Sun – 11am + 1pm: February 20 – March 14, 2027
